In my art, l use the male nude to express vulnerability and desire, reclaiming it in a culture where it's marginalized. The bright colors and homoerotic themes in my work are a form of protest against the hostile environment that forces so many to hide their true selves.

My work questions why the male body is still seen as provocative or taboo, while the female nude is accepted and even celebrated. I want to disrupt that imbalance and show male beauty and sensuality in the same way women have been depicted for centuries. By painting what I find beautiful, I'm exploring what it means to be male, and challenging the dominant, patriarchal narratives that have shaped art for far too long.
